God Says:

Sodom, Gomorrah and America is next!
I want to tell you about a certain society - one that cast God aside and consequently sunk into a pit of gross darkness. Despising the Light, this society became a magnet for every kind of evil spirit. Law and order collapsed; every man was a law unto himself. The entire society was abandoned to the devil, and no moral force remained to hinder its headlong rush into hell.
There was no honor, decency or self-respect left among them, no reverence for life whatsoever. Justice and kindness faded away, and the people were overcome with lust and licentiousness. They sneered at virtue, their consciences seared and callused. They scoffed at the fear of God and mocked righteousness.
They became totally inhospitable, possessing the heart and indifference of a beast. They had no pity for the poor. All spiritual desire was extinguished, and gross materialism and fleshly lusts became their gods. The people became totally shockproof, so that the vilest, bloodiest crimes were accepted as normal behavior.
I am actually describing two societies here: Sodom and America. We know of Sodom's terrible end - and Scripture shows us that America is fast becoming another Sodom!
Homosexual Sodomites came out of their closet and became activists, casting a demonic spell over a whole generation of men and boys. They grew politically powerful, controlling everything. Sodom became the world's gay capital, a society so vile, wicked and crazed with violence that its sins thundered throughout the heavens, filling God's holy environment with a hellish cry.
God dispatched two angels to Sodom, and it seemed even they were shocked by the utter degradation and wickedness they saw. The society mocked marriage and left children abandoned, scared and confused. (How could any society ruled by a homosexual spirit not witness the destruction of decent family life?)
No visiting male was safe in Sodom. Roving gangs of homosexuals freely cruised the streets and alleys, looking for rape victims. And no one dared stop them - no politician, no police officer, no uprising of enraged parents.
Yet the generation living in Sodom at this time had received a blessing from God: He had delivered them from a bloody war. While Bera was king of Sodom and Birsha was king of Gomorrah, four powerful nations came against them and took the people captive, plundering everything. God sent Abraham to rescue King Bera and his nephew Lot, and everything was recovered. But even that great deliverance did not change Sodom's wicked ways. The people took God's blessing for granted and didn't give Him credit.
Like Sodom, America was delivered by God, in the desert of Kuwait. Yet for us, as for Sodom, this was not preservation - it was merely a reprieve. We have not so much been preserved against judgment as we are being reserved for judgment, if we do not humble ourselves before God.
The Lord demonstrated His great mercy toward Sodom just before He destroyed it. And He did the same for us in Kuwait. But like Sodom, America will not change. Homosexuals will advance unchallenged and sin will reign!
The roving gay crowd of Sodom heard that two handsome men were visiting Lot's house. Within hours, they had surrounded the place, trying to knock down the doors to gang-rape the visiting angels. So where was King Bera then? Nobody raised a voice against what was happening. It had become a society full of lust-driven men!
The angels struck these men blind - yet in their blindness, they still groped for the door to pursue their raging lusts (Genesis 19:11). If angels can weep, those two most certainly wept over the sad sight of these men, made in God's image, who had sunk to the level of groveling beasts. These depraved men were ready to kill to satiate their demonic lust.
Lot was so vexed by these men that he told them, "Here are my two daughters. Take them and rape them all night long!" Now, I'm the father of two daughters. And I can't imagine the kind of power a society could have to drive a man to hand over his virgin daughters to a raving mob. But the mob didn't even want them - they wanted men!
Scripture says these homosexuals were not an isolated minority, but the majority (Genesis 19:1, 14). Did God overlook their sins? Did He put off their day of reckoning? How long did God wait, once this raging homosexual spirit became so bold and brazen it would trample what was holy?
The Flash Point for the Judgment
of God Comes the Very Hour a
Homosexual Spirit Rises Up and
Attacks What is Divine and Holy
The two angels sent to Sodom represented God's interests on this earth - that which is of heaven, divine, spiritual, supernatural. Yet the men of that city were so bold, proud and arrogant that they attacked the very thing representing God's interests.
In the very hour this homosexual spirit in Sodom attacked the house of Lot, God said, "Enough - I will destroy them!" And the next morning, while that gay manipulated society slept off the night's debauchery, fire and brimstone fell on Sodom. The cup of God's wrath and His fierce anger wiped them from the earth, as one would wipe filth from a dish. David was right: "Thou puttest away all the wicked of the earth like dross... thou hast trodden down them all" (Psalm 119:118-119).
But, you say, this can't happen to us - because Sodom was born heathen and lived and died heathen. America was born Christian - and still remains Christian.
Well, let me tell you about another degenerate society - one born of God, of the seed of Abraham, a people once entrusted with the covenants and promises of Jehovah God. This story, found in Judges 19, is about the tribe of Benjamin and a little town called Gibeah.
A Levite came to Gibeah to take home his runaway concubine. The girl's father found the Levite camping on the streets late at night, and he begged him to come to his house because the streets were not safe.
Unsafe streets in a small town? This was a dwelling of Benjamites, children of once-valiant soldiers of the Lord who had marched under Jehovah's banner. This was once a godly place where children frolicked in the streets, and the praises of God were constantly on the lips of its citizens.
But now another spirit had arisen - a spirit from hell that had taken control. Gibeah had become the homosexual capital of the Benjamites, a hotbed of perverted lust. And now a foreboding spirit of violence hung over the town.
The children were not longer safe on the streets. God's name was no longer praised, but cursed. This society, born in the heart of God and carried for so long in His loving arms, was now ruled by murderous Sodomites. And - as it happened in Sodom - a homosexual spirit had risen up to trample was holy.
"As they were making their hearts merry, behold, the men of the city, certain sons of Belial [the devil], beset the house round about, and beat at the door, and spake to the master of the house, the old man, saying, Bring forth the man that came into thine house, that we may know him" (Judges 19:22-28). They were so bold, so fearless of God, they were ready to rape a preacher!
Again, that which represented God's interests on earth became a target of vile spirits. It wasn't enough for these men to have the young men and boys in town - they had to touch God!
"And the man, the master of the house, went out unto them, and said unto them, Nay, my brethren, nay, I pray you, do not so wickedly; seeing that this man is come into mine house, do not this folly. Behold, here is my daughter a maiden, and his concubine; them I will bring out now, and humble ye them, and do with them what seemeth good unto you: but unto this man do not so vile a thing" (verses 23-24). Like Lot, this man was saying, "Here's my daughter. Take her - abuse her all you like!"
"But the men would not hearken to him: so the man took his concubine, and brought her forth unto them; and they knew her, and abused her all the night until the morning: and when the day began to spring, they let her go.
"Then came the woman in the dawning of the day, and fell down at the door of the man's house where her lord was, till it was light. And her lord rose up in the morning, and opened the doors of the house, and went out to go his way; and, behold, the woman his concubine was fallen down at the door of the house, and her hands were upon the threshold" (verses 25-27).
The poor creature had probably been scratching half the night to get back into the house before she died. But the man of the house had gone to bed!
"And [the Levite] said unto her, Up, and let us be going. But none answered. Then the man took her upon an ass, and the man rose up, and gat him unto his place. And when he was come into his house, he took a knife, and laid hold on his concubine, and divided her, together with her bones, into twelve pieces, and sent her into all the coasts of Israel" (verses 28-29). The Levite sent a piece of her body to every tribe! What a bloody, macabre scene.
The people of Israel were horrified. They said, "Never in our history has something happened so low and so vile that someone should cut up a body. What would cause someone to do such horrible things?"
"And it was so, that all that saw it said, There was no such deed done nor seen from the day that the children of Israel came up out of the land of Egypt unto this day: consider of it, take advice, and speak your minds" (verse 30).
Beloved, the carving up of a dead body was horrible enough. But the worst sin of all was that Gibeah had become a homosexual center, and the whole tribe of Benjamin was ready to fight for their right to be homosexuals. By their actions they were saying, "Our brothers had the right to do what they did."
But God sent judgment, and in the ensuing battle 65,100 men were killed (40,000 Israelites and 25,100 Benjamites). The town was burned to the ground, with all its homosexuals. Gay Gibeah was left in smoldering ashes.
For Just One Act God Brought Judgment on Gibeah -
But the Same Evil Happens Every Day In America!
A Dallas father recently traded his four-year-old son for a $40 hit of crack. When the mother rescued her boy the next day, the father became angry and violent. Imagine - a boy's life for a single fix! Yet the father, now facing prison, showed no regrets.
In March, a Brooklyn woman and her teenage daughter kidnapped and murdered 19 year-old Raquel Montano so they could steal her three-year-old baby. The mother-and-daughter team bludgeoned Raquel, suffocated her, put her in a pushcart, left it at a gas station and set her body on fire.
Picture that horrible scene - then witness the mother and daughter as they were indicted: nothing but hardness, coldness, indifference.
America has become sick! I can't believe that God is not angry, that He is overlooking it all! I received a note recently from a well-known evangelist, saying, "Don't speak against America. Her best days are ahead. God is pleased!" Beloved, that is exactly what the Bible says the false prophets will claim in the last days!
Almost daily, we hear of bloody, senseless mutilations across the nation. New York City does not even shed a tear when the Daily News reports:
"Baby found in plastic bag near Fulton Street in garbage can..."
"19-year-old socialite discarded, wrapped in rug - lying on top of garbage pile outside wealthy East Side apartment house..."
"Police discover parts of four-year-old girl stuffed in suitcase, left in hallway of Bronx apartment house, set on fire..."
How can we parade proudly about our victory at war when our public schools are turning into disgraceful sex-abuse centers? The New York Post reported on March 20: "School Sex Shocker! Probe finds shocking sex abuse in schools. Millions victimized nationwide. One in five girls abused before age 16..."
Teachers, custodians, superintendents, security guards - every level is involved in abusing our children. An executive assistant of a Bronx school board lured a thirteen-year-old boy to his apartment to watch porno movies and have sex. The American Association of School Administrators was shocked to find out that one in seven boys have been abused by school personnel.
Today we see the sad, frightened faces of millions of innocent children who have been raped by men, forced into incest by their own parents, and seduced by teachers, preachers and priests. You can't tell me God is smiling on America! You can't say our holy, just Lord will sit by as millions more of our children are plundered, raped and destroyed.
Has America reached the flash point of God's judgment? Are we already like all past societies that permitted the rise of a dominant, defiant homosexual spirit? I wonder if angels are already walking our streets, aghast at the speed at which we're racing toward hell.
Rest assured, there is one thing God will not permit. And when it happens, you can know the hour of judgment has come:
God Will Not Allow Homosexual Spirits
to Trample His Holy Name or to Touch His Anointed -
and It Is Happening Right Now In America!
Cardinal John J. O'Connor has taken a strong stand against homosexuality here in New York. Now he is being mocked by the press. Even Calvin Butts, a prominent Baptist preacher here, called O'Conner a "gaybasher." Norman Lear is producing a TV series called "Sunday Dinner." The lead character is a flaky, legalistic Protestant girl who serves as the punching bag of homosexuals and New Agers. The show is going to mock every moral standard left in America. God will be ridiculed and made the butt of their jokes. You see, it's all part of the humanistic homosexual rights movement That's moving in now to trample all that is sacred and holy. You can hear the blasphemers crying, "God is Gay!"
The final proof that America will soon be judged is in our pandering to homosexuals. For years now, the key word in America's attitude toward gays has been "tolerance." New York Mayor David Dinkins has said, "We cannot flinch in our responsibility to widen the circle of tolerance."
In Maine, the Portland Press Herald (serving a conservative county) recently ran this story: "Presbyterian Task Force Recommends Ordaining Homosexuals." It says that a study called the Majority Report claims that homosexual activity is not a sin; rather, all sex is morally neutral.
The report also contained this stand on adolescent sex: "Advocating 'just say no' is not the answer. What we hope to teach young people is to make good choices - that when it's right to say no they will say no, and when it's right to say yes they will say yes." I ask you: When in the world is it right for a child to say yes to sex?
In the same newspaper, the Rev. Rose Mary Denmore, a lesbian, says she is angry that homosexual and lesbian ministers are kept from working with children. She says, "Keeping adult homosexuals separate from youngsters who may be homosexuals deprives them of adult confidantes they may need." Do you hear what she is saying? Now they want access to our children!
It is one thing for homosexuals to come out of the closet and demand equal and special rights... to move into all levels of government and to influence the media... to lobby for privileges as married couples and adoptive parents... to gain enough power to insist that the Empire State Building be bathed in lavender lights in celebration of Gay Pride Week... and to have New York's mayor lead their parade, dance with them half the night, call them a discriminated minority and equate them with civil rights leaders and Martin Luther King....
But it is another thing entirely when that spirit rises up to touch God's interests on this earth. That's when God says, "Enough!" And all through the Bible, that is the moment God moved.
Beloved, God's judgment is already in motion. You can read it in the headlines. Consider the following:
On February 14, USA Today reported two big stories on the same page. The first read: "San Francisco Takes Steps Towards Homosexual Matrimony." On Valentine's Day, dozens of gay couples walked arm-in-arm down the steps of City Hall to be legally recognized as a union. One lesbian said, "At last, the world will know how much we love each other."
The other story read: "California Cursed By Drought: Water rationing coming to California... five straight years of drought... reservoirs bone dry..." The drought threatened the state's entire agricultural economy. Governor Pete Wilson stated, "This stubborn drought is a biblical curse." Rain has since come to California - but the drought is not yet over.
A March 26 headline read: "Rain Drought - Twin Threats to Much of USA." Who is sending the rain in some places and drought in others? "And also I have withholden the rain from you, when there were yet three months to the harvest: and I caused it to rain upon one city, and caused it not to rain upon another city" (Amos 4:7). God is behind it all!
I honestly believe God delivered us from disgrace in the desert of Kuwait. Yet this nation is not turning to the Lord, apart from a holy remnant. "I have overthrown some of you, as God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah, and ye were as a firebrand plucked out of the burning: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the Lord" (Amos 4:11).
America can read of its own destiny - and doom - by simply blowing off the dust of historical accounts of God's dealings with other nations who continued in their sin. Romans 1 shows clearly why God's wrath is going to be poured out. This passage tells how homosexual lust tramples the truth, debauches society and brings down God's wrath.
AIDS
It is also time we faced the truth about AIDS. I feel I need to say this to you precious workers who minister to AIDS afflicted people: You have no right to preach Christ to them until you see their disease as God sees it - as a penalty for raging lust. "God gave them over to degrading passions... receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error" (Romans 1:26-27).
There can be no white-washing of AIDS. Like it or not, the Bible calls it the due penalty of sin. No, it isn't the due penalty for innocent babies or those who got AIDS through blood transfusions - but for homosexuals who flaunted their sins. It is a curse straight out of Leviticus 26.
The church has but one message for homosexuals and lesbians. It is the same message we preach to addicts, alcoholics, and all who are enslaved by sin: "You must be set free - and only Christ can do it!"
Saints of God, take a hard look at the power and influence that is rising up now. Radical ACT-UP homosexuals spat and vomited and disrupted Cardinal O'Connor's services at the cathedral. But who among the mocking media raised their voices then?
God is trying to show us something prophetic: When this homosexual spirit rises up, its final move is against everything that is sacred, holy, righteous and moral. It wants to destroy everything godly - and to proclaim that theirs is the preferred life-style of society.
The judgment on the Benjamites cost a total of 65,100 lives. AIDS has already cost America much more than that. Within five years, 200,000 will be dead with AIDS. By the year 2000, more will have died than in all our country's wars combined!
AIDS... drought... failing banks... growing homosexual power... mockery of all that is holy... The evidence of awesome judgments is on America! Let us give the Lord the righteous, reverent fear that is due Him:
"For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell... to be reserved unto judgment; and spared not the world, but saved Noah... a preacher of righteousness, bringing in a flood upon the world of the ungodly; and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after would live ungodly...
"The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished" (2 Peter 2:4-6, 9).
God is saying to us very clearly, "I judged angels, which I created, and I didn't spare Noah's sinful age. How can you expect to escape judgment if I had to destroy Sodom? Why should I spare America, when you flaunt the same sins?
You ask, "But what does all this have to do with me?" Simply this: "See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall we not escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven" (Hebrews 12:25). "How shall we escape if we neglect so great salvation" (Hebrews 2:3).
America is reserved for judgment and the wrath of Almighty God, unless we cry out to Him. The church of Jesus Christ needs to pray and to take authority against this evil!

But the worst sin of all was that Gibeah had become a homosexual center, and the whole tribe of Benjamin was ready to fight for their right to be homosexuals. By their actions they were saying, "Our brothers had the right to do what they did."
But God sent judgment, and in the ensuing battle 65,100 men were killed (40,000 Israelites and 25,100 Benjamites). The town was burned to the ground, with all its homosexuals. Gay Gibeah was left in smoldering ashes.
For Just One Act God Brought Judgment on Gibeah -
But the Same Evil Happens Every Day In America!
A Dallas father recently traded his four-year-old son for a $40 hit of crack. When the mother rescued her boy the next day, the father became angry and violent. Imagine - a boy's life for a single fix! Yet the father, now facing prison, showed no regrets.
In March, a Brooklyn woman and her teenage daughter kidnapped and murdered 19 year-old Raquel Montano so they could steal her three-year-old baby. The mother-and-daughter team bludgeoned Raquel, suffocated her, put her in a pushcart, left it at a gas station and set her body on fire.
Picture that horrible scene - then witness the mother and daughter as they were indicted: nothing but hardness, coldness, indifference.
America has become sick! I can't believe that God is not angry, that He is overlooking it all! I received a note recently from a well-known evangelist, saying, "Don't speak against America. Her best days are ahead. God is pleased!" Beloved, that is exactly what the Bible says the false prophets will claim in the last days!
Almost daily, we hear of bloody, senseless mutilations across the nation. New York City does not even shed a tear when the Daily News reports:
"Baby found in plastic bag near Fulton Street in garbage can..."
"19-year-old socialite discarded, wrapped in rug - lying on top of garbage pile outside wealthy East Side apartment house..."
"Police discover parts of four-year-old girl stuffed in suitcase, left in hallway of Bronx apartment house, set on fire..."
How can we parade proudly about our victory at war when our public schools are turning into disgraceful sex-abuse centers? The New York Post reported on March 20: "School Sex Shocker! Probe finds shocking sex abuse in schools. Millions victimized nationwide. One in five girls abused before age 16..."
Teachers, custodians, superintendents, security guards - every level is involved in abusing our children. An executive assistant of a Bronx school board lured a thirteen-year-old boy to his apartment to watch porno movies and have sex. The American Association of School Administrators was shocked to find out that one in seven boys have been abused by school personnel.
Today we see the sad, frightened faces of millions of innocent children who have been raped by men, forced into incest by their own parents, and seduced by teachers, preachers and priests. You can't tell me God is smiling on America! You can't say our holy, just Lord will sit by as millions more of our children are plundered, raped and destroyed.
Has America reached the flash point of God's judgment? Are we already like all past societies that permitted the rise of a dominant, defiant homosexual spirit? I wonder if angels are already walking our streets, aghast at the speed at which we're racing toward hell.
Rest assured, there is one thing God will not permit. And when it happens, you can know the hour of judgment has come:

to Trample His Holy Name or to Touch His Anointed -
and It Is Happening Right Now In America!
Cardinal John J. O'Connor has taken a strong stand against homosexuality here in New York. Now he is being mocked by the press. Even Calvin Butts, a prominent Baptist preacher here, called O'Conner a "gaybasher." Norman Lear is producing a TV series called "Sunday Dinner." The lead character is a flaky, legalistic Protestant girl who serves as the punching bag of homosexuals and New Agers. The show is going to mock every moral standard left in America. God will be ridiculed and made the butt of their jokes. You see, it's all part of the humanistic homosexual rights movement That's moving in now to trample all that is sacred and holy. You can hear the blasphemers crying, "God is Gay!"
The final proof that America will soon be judged is in our pandering to homosexuals. For years now, the key word in America's attitude toward gays has been "tolerance." New York Mayor David Dinkins has said, "We cannot flinch in our responsibility to widen the circle of tolerance."
In Maine, the Portland Press Herald (serving a conservative county) recently ran this story: "Presbyterian Task Force Recommends Ordaining Homosexuals." It says that a study called the Majority Report claims that homosexual activity is not a sin; rather, all sex is morally neutral.
The report also contained this stand on adolescent sex: "Advocating 'just say no' is not the answer. What we hope to teach young people is to make good choices - that when it's right to say no they will say no, and when it's right to say yes they will say yes." I ask you: When in the world is it right for a child to say yes to sex?
In the same newspaper, the Rev. Rose Mary Denmore, a lesbian, says she is angry that homosexual and lesbian ministers are kept from working with children. She says, "Keeping adult homosexuals separate from youngsters who may be homosexuals deprives them of adult confidantes they may need." Do you hear what she is saying? Now they want access to our children!
It is one thing for homosexuals to come out of the closet and demand equal and special rights... to move into all levels of government and to influence the media... to lobby for privileges as married couples and adoptive parents... to gain enough power to insist that the Empire State Building be bathed in lavender lights in celebration of Gay Pride Week... and to have New York's mayor lead their parade, dance with them half the night, call them a discriminated minority and equate them with civil rights leaders and Martin Luther King....
But it is another thing entirely when that spirit rises up to touch God's interests on this earth. That's when God says, "Enough!" And all through the Bible, that is the moment God moved.
Beloved, God's judgment is already in motion. You can read it in the headlines. Consider the following:
On February 14, USA Today reported two big stories on the same page. The first read: "San Francisco Takes Steps Towards Homosexual Matrimony." On Valentine's Day, dozens of gay couples walked arm-in-arm down the steps of City Hall to be legally recognized as a union. One lesbian said, "At last, the world will know how much we love each other."
The other story read: "California Cursed By Drought: Water rationing coming to California... five straight years of drought... reservoirs bone dry..." The drought threatened the state's entire agricultural economy. Governor Pete Wilson stated, "This stubborn drought is a biblical curse." Rain has since come to California - but the drought is not yet over.
A March 26 headline read: "Rain Drought - Twin Threats to Much of USA." Who is sending the rain in some places and drought in others? "And also I have withholden the rain from you, when there were yet three months to the harvest: and I caused it to rain upon one city, and caused it not to rain upon another city" (Amos 4:7). God is behind it all!
I honestly believe God delivered us from disgrace in the desert of Kuwait. Yet this nation is not turning to the Lord, apart from a holy remnant. "I have overthrown some of you, as God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah, and ye were as a firebrand plucked out of the burning: yet have ye not returned unto me, saith the Lord" (Amos 4:11).
America can read of its own destiny - and doom - by simply blowing off the dust of historical accounts of God's dealings with other nations who continued in their sin. Romans 1 shows clearly why God's wrath is going to be poured out. This passage tells how homosexual lust tramples the truth, debauches society and brings down God's wrath.
AIDS
It is also time we faced the truth about AIDS. I feel I need to say this to you precious workers who minister to AIDS afflicted people: You have no right to preach Christ to them until you see their disease as God sees it - as a penalty for raging lust. "God gave them over to degrading passions... receiving in their own persons the due penalty of their error" (Romans 1:26-27).
There can be no white-washing of AIDS. Like it or not, the Bible calls it the due penalty of sin. No, it isn't the due penalty for innocent babies or those who got AIDS through blood transfusions - but for homosexuals who flaunted their sins. It is a curse straight out of Leviticus 26.
The church has but one message for homosexuals and lesbians. It is the same message we preach to addicts, alcoholics, and all who are enslaved by sin: "You must be set free - and only Christ can do it!"
Saints of God, take a hard look at the power and influence that is rising up now. Radical ACT-UP homosexuals spat and vomited and disrupted Cardinal O'Connor's services at the cathedral. But who among the mocking media raised their voices then?
God is trying to show us something prophetic: When this homosexual spirit rises up, its final move is against everything that is sacred, holy, righteous and moral. It wants to destroy everything godly - and to proclaim that theirs is the preferred life-style of society.
The judgment on the Benjamites cost a total of 65,100 lives. AIDS has already cost America much more than that. Within five years, 200,000 will be dead with AIDS. By the year 2000, more will have died than in all our country's wars combined!
AIDS... drought... failing banks... growing homosexual power... mockery of all that is holy... The evidence of awesome judgments is on America! Let us give the Lord the righteous, reverent fear that is due Him:
"For if God spared not the angels that sinned, but cast them down to hell... to be reserved unto judgment; and spared not the world, but saved Noah... a preacher of righteousness, bringing in a flood upon the world of the ungodly; and turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after would live ungodly...
"The Lord knoweth how to deliver the godly out of temptations, and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished" (2 Peter 2:4-6, 9).
God is saying to us very clearly, "I judged angels, which I created, and I didn't spare Noah's sinful age. How can you expect to escape judgment if I had to destroy Sodom? Why should I spare America, when you flaunt the same sins?
You ask, "But what does all this have to do with me?" Simply this: "See that ye refuse not him that speaketh. For if they escaped not who refused him that spake on earth, much more shall we not escape, if we turn away from him that speaketh from heaven" (Hebrews 12:25). "How shall we escape if we neglect so great salvation" (Hebrews 2:3).
America is reserved for judgment and the wrath of Almighty God, unless we cry out to Him. The church of Jesus Christ needs to pray and to take authority against this evil!

THE SODOMITES
"And there were also Sodomites in the land.." I Kings 14:24
Introduction:
Rehoboam the son of Solomom reigned seventeen years in Jerusalem. Under his reign, the Bible says, "And Judah did evil in the sight of the Lord. . . " (I Kings 14:22). Among those evils listed was their condoning of Sodomites in the land.
This is one of the prevalent sins of America today. In times past the Sodomites were not condoned in America.
Not only are there Sodomites in this land, but they are welcomed and harbored. Under the Carter administration, Cuba dumped thousands of their unwanted Sodomites into Florida. Cuba was anxious to get rid of them and the Sodomites were anxious to escape what they called, "Severe repression in Cuba."
The light of the churches is so faint and flickering that these creeping things of darkness have come out into the open.
Let's now turn the light of God's Word directly upon this epitome of moral degradation, and send the Sodomites scurrying back into their hiding places.
I. God's Description of the Sodomites
"Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
"Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshiped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed forever. Amen.
"For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
"And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet." Romans 1:24-27
1. Unclean--Vs. 24--Lazarus was laid at the rich man's gate full of sores. He was probably looked upon as unclean by many in his day. God did not call him unclean. God's angels carried him into Abraham's bosom when he died. Lazarus was clean in his heart.
"Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God. ." Matthew 5:8
The unclean go into hell when they die!
"For this ye know, that no whoremonger, nor unclean person, nor covetous man, who is an idolater, hath any inheritance in the kingdom of Christ and of God." Ephesians 5:5
Sodomites are unclean!
2. Vile-- I Kings 14:26-27--The Devil's leading religion in America, secular hutmanism, described by God in verse 26, states its position concerning Sodomy in their "Humanist Manifesto II"-- ". . .we believe that intolerant attitudes often cultivated by orthodox religions and puritanical cultures, unduly repress sexual conduct. The right to birth control, abortion, and divorce should be recognized ... the many varieties of sexual exploration should not in themselves be considered evil."
The humanist attempts to camouflage the corruption of the Sodomites, but God's inspired, infallible, inerrant, preserved Word reveals their filthy sins as vile!
3. Abomination--
"Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination." Leviticus 18:22
The Sodomites are an abomination to God!
Webster's definition of an abomination--"Extreme disgust and hatred; abhorrence; detestation; loathing. That which is abominable; anything hateful or shamefully vile."
A man must not wear a woman's garment. A woman must not wear that which pertaineth to a man.
"The woman shall not wear that which pertaineth unto a man, neither shall a man put on a woman's garment: for all that do so are abomination unto the Lord thy God." Deuteronomy 22:5
The sins of Sodomy are also suggested or declared by all who abominably attire themselves!
II. MINCED TITLES PREFERRED BY THE SODOMITES--
Sad to say, the biblical title of Sodomites, which was given to these debased sinners by God, is seldom used by those who cry out against this terrible wickedness. They usually use the term--
1. Homosexual--This is like calling a drunkard an alcoholic; or calling a thief a cleptomaniac. The sharp words of God are ". . . quick, and powerful and sharper than any twoedged sword. "
When preachers, and others who oppose this vile sin, use the term "homosexual" they are only giving a partial definition of what a Sodomite is!
2. Gays- This is their choice title of this day. This, like the other, only gives a partial definition of what a Sodomite is, and the sharp edge of the Word of God is gone.
According to Webster, "gay" means: "loose; licentious." The Sodomites far surpass that in their vileness.
Our text does not say there were homosexuals in the land or gays in the land. It says there were Sodomites in the land!
A Sodomite woman is not a lesbian nor is a Sodomite man a gay. They are Sodomites! Call them what they are by using the title of infainy given them by the Lord. Don't let the Sodomites choose their title. God has already named them!
Call them Sodomites whether they like it or not.
They will never be convicted of their vile sins without the Word of God.
III. THE BOLDNESS OF THE SODOMITES--
"The shew of their countenance doth witness against them; and they declare their sin as Sodom, they hide it not. Woe unto their soul! for they have rewarded evil unto themselves." Isaiah 3:9
1. Marches-They no longer sneak around in hiding like roaches and rats. They now march down the main streets of cities and towns carrying signs, declaring their sin as Sodom!
This does not reveal advances made by the Humanist Sodomite liberation movements. It simply reveals how low-down the morals in this nation have plunged.
When Sodomites start marching down main street it is like a house infested with roaches, where no effort is made to control or eliminate them!

Mondale cites party commitinent to eliminate all laws, rules and regulations which discrminate againsts individuals on the basis of sexual orientation."
4. Pageants-Charlotte, NC fostered a Miss Sodomite America pageant 9/25/82
5. Churches-The Metropolitan Community Church is a Sodomite denomination!
"The Metropolitan Community Church, a nationwide denomination formed in 1968 by an ex-Pentecostal Holiness minister named Troy Perry ... MCC now boasts 30,000 members in 170 churches." (Greenville News)
The Metropolitan Community Church openly denies that sodomy is a sin!
The boldness of the Sodomites in Judah was a result of and a testimony to the prevailing evil condition of the people in general.
This is the same sequence that we are now witnessing in America.
6. Television-This has been one of the key instruments that Satan has used io brainwash this wicked world into accepting Sodomites into its culture.
IV. THE EXAMPLE OF THE SODOMITE--
"And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an ensample unto those that after should live ungodly." II Peter 2:6
Look at the example and learn the lesson well America!
V. JUDAH AND THE SODOMITES--
"If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them." Leviticus 20:13
You will find in the Bible that the Sodomites flourished under the reign of the wicked kings and they were removed by the good kings--
1. Asa-"And Asa did that which was right in the eyes of the Lord, as did David his father.
"And he took away the sodomites out of the land, and removed all the idols that his fathers had made." I Kings 14:11-12
2. Jehoshaphat--"And he walked in all the ways of Asa his father; he turned not asidefrom it, doing that which was right in the eyes of the Lord. . . "
"And the remnant of the Sodomites, which remained in the days of his father Asa, he took out of the land." I Kings 22:43-46
3. Josiah--"And he brake down the houses of the sodomites, that were by the house of the Lord, where the women wove hangings for the grove. " II Kings 23:7
VI. THE DOOM OF THE SODOMITES--
The first mention principle of Bible interpretation is a very profitable study.
In Genesis chapters 13, 18, 19 we find God's attitude toward and His judgment against Sodomites:
"But the men of Sodom were wicked and sinners before the Lord exceedingly." Genesis 13:13
"And the Lord said, Because the cry of Sodom and Gomorrah is great, and because their sin is very grievous." Genesis 18:20 "
"Then the Lord rained upon Sodom and upon Gomorrah brimstone and fire from the Lord out of heaven; And he overthrew those cities, and all the plain, and all the inhabitants of the cities, and that which grew upon the ground." Genesis 19:24-25
God did not find ten righteous people in Sodom. That place was so given over to its vile corruptions that no hope remained. God's wrath was poured out upon them because of their sins.
Where Sodom once stood there is now the Dead Sea. Nothing grows there. Do not harbor the hope that God will overlook this heinous wickedness that is being accepted and legalized in America. We could fall as suddenly as Sodom did!
". . Sodom, that was over thrown as in a moment. ." Lamentations 4:6
You will search in vain for any trace of God's excusing the Sodomites in their debased state.
"...God overthrew Sodom and Gomorrah. . . " Isaiah 13:19
Conclusion:
1. The sins of the Sodomites are of the vilest nature. God's hatred of their abominations is revealed in their incurable disease that strikes with near 100% mortality--AIDS!
2. Sodomy is not an alternate life style. It is a sin. It is a style of death!
3. There is no such thing as Sodomite rights found in God's Word.
4. There is one hope for America--Do as Asa, Jehoshaphat and Josiah.
5. There is one hope for the Sodomite--The Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ.
"For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; "Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time." I Timothy 2:5-6

2. A woman married who is believed to be a virgin and found out not to be, shall be stoned to death for playing the whore in her father's house. Deut. 22: 14-21.
3. If a man entices a woman not engaged, and lies with her, he must endow her to be his wife. Exod. 22:16.
4. To avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife, and every woman her own husband. 1 Cor. 7:2,9.
5. There shall be no whore of the daughters of Israel. Deut. 23:17.
6. The law does not sanction fornication. 1 Tim. 1:9-10.
7. God will judge the sexually immoral acts of persons. Heb. 13:4; Rev. 21:8; Rev. 22:15-16.
8. Fornication is ruinous. Prov. 6:26; Prov. 23:27; Prov. 29:3; Prov. 31:3.
9. You shall not approach a woman unclean by menstruation to uncover her sexuality and lie with her. Lev. 18:19; Lev. 20:18.
10. We are not to associate with fornicators. 1 Cor. 5:9.
11. Repent of any fornication committed. 2 Cor. 12:21.
Chastity and Virtue
1. Chastity commanded; and that you not to be fornicators. Acts 15:20; Col. 3:5; 1 Thess. 4:3; Titus 2:5.
2. We should be chaste in the heart. Prov. 6:25.
3. We are to keep the body in chastity. 1 Cor. 6:13,15-19.
4. Chastity is preserved by wisdom and discretion. Prov.2:10-11; Prov.7:1-5.
5. We should not keep company with those devoid of chastity.1 Cor. 5:11; 1 Pet. 4:3.
6. Keep yourself pure in mind and heart. Psa. 73:1; Prov. 22:11; Matt. 5:8; 1 Tim. 5:22; James 4:8.
7. Immoral and unchaste conduct (works of the flesh) excludes entry into the Kingdom of God. Gal. 5:19-21; Eph. 5:5; Heb.13:4.
8. Abstain and turn away from every form of evil. Job 1:1,8; 1 Thes. 5:22; 1 Pet. 3:10-11.
9. A virtuous person should let their mind dwell on those things which are true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, and of good report. Phil. 4:8 .
10. It is chaste to add virtue in your faith and knowledge to virtue.2 Pet. 1:5.
11. Virtue in women is a highly desired attribute. Prov. 30:10-31.
12. A gracious woman retains honor. Prov. 11: 16.
13. You shall do what is right and good in the sight of the LORD, that it may be well with you. Deut. 6:18.
14. As a ring of gold in a swine's snout, so is a beautiful woman who lacks discretion. Prov. 11:22.
15. Whoredom and prostitution is forbidden. Lev. 19:29; Deut. 22:21; Deut. 23:17.

8. Fornication is ruinous. Prov. 6:26; Prov. 23:27; Prov. 29:3; Prov. 31:3.
9. You shall not approach a woman unclean by menstruation to uncover her sexuality and lie with her. Lev. 18:19; Lev. 20:18.
10. We are not to associate with fornicators. 1 Cor. 5:9.
11. Repent of any fornication committed. 2 Cor. 12:21.
Chastity and Virtue
1. Chastity commanded; and that you not to be fornicators. Acts 15:20; Col. 3:5; 1 Thess. 4:3; Titus 2:5.
2. We should be chaste in the heart. Prov. 6:25.
3. We are to keep the body in chastity. 1 Cor. 6:13,15-19.
4. Chastity is preserved by wisdom and discretion. Prov.2:10-11; Prov.7:1-5.
5. We should not keep company with those devoid of chastity.1 Cor. 5:11; 1 Pet. 4:3.
6. Keep yourself pure in mind and heart. Psa. 73:1; Prov. 22:11; Matt. 5:8; 1 Tim. 5:22; James 4:8.
7. Immoral and unchaste conduct (works of the flesh) excludes entry into the Kingdom of God. Gal. 5:19-21; Eph. 5:5; Heb.13:4.
8. Abstain and turn away from every form of evil. Job 1:1,8; 1 Thes. 5:22; 1 Pet. 3:10-11.
9. A virtuous person should let their mind dwell on those things which are true, honorable, just, pure, lovely, and of good report. Phil. 4:8 .
10. It is chaste to add virtue in your faith and knowledge to virtue.2 Pet. 1:5.
11. Virtue in women is a highly desired attribute. Prov. 30:10-31.
12. A gracious woman retains honor. Prov. 11: 16.
13. You shall do what is right and good in the sight of the LORD, that it may be well with you. Deut. 6:18.
14. As a ring of gold in a swine's snout, so is a beautiful woman who lacks discretion. Prov. 11:22.
15. Whoredom and prostitution is forbidden. Lev. 19:29; Deut. 22:21; Deut. 23:17.
